OWLS CAPTURED!

Remember the slide show? If you do, you'll definitely recognize the old owls. Well they've just been captured on canvas by artist Valerie Whitworth. She's done an exhibition of around 70 paintings based on images from the original slide show. Go and visit them at:

Nighthawks of the Living Dead

To mark the 20th anniversary of the Nighthawks era, I will be doing a special show of the old stuff in the Olympia Theatre Dublin on Sept 12. Starring Kojak, Dana, Gary Glitter, the Woman and the Washing Powder and many others too nameless to mention.

'Sunday Indo' column

I've started writing a column in the Sunday Independent, it's in the 'Life' magazine. Doesn't seem to have any obvious online presence, so here's the first few.

my dougal hell

There's was a slightly misleading article about me here in which I was quoted as saying I had turned down the part of Dougal in Father Ted. This is the exact opposite of what I actually said in the interview. I have no memory of reading the script of Father Ted. I was never offered a part, and therefore never turned one down. Amen.
